  • We had more talent in Iaa than now!

  • @MrTurkeybeard3 No doubt! Vinny Curry and Aaron Dobson would start on the 96 team (obviously), but our talent was so deep, the BACKUPS on this team (John Grace, Rogers Beckett, Doug Chapman, Jason Starkey etc) went 13-0 in 1-A in 1999 when their chance come up. Even Chad Pennington and Paul Toviessi, two future first-day NFL draft picks redshirted that year. And that doesn't even include Moss. Also, Chris Hanson, the punter, played 11 years in the NFL averaging 42 yards per boot.

  • back when moss was not all about him self

  • @possessedllama33 Ya know, Moss may have very well taken plays off at Marshall, but he was so much more talented than the corners and safeties he played against in college. I think the only two NFL DBs Moss faced in college were Blaine McElmurry of Montana and Clarence Love from Toledo . . . . . yeah exactly! But Moss also actually had something to prove at Marshall. He had been kicked out of FSU and Notre Dame, and Marshall gave him a chance. In return, he helped put MU on the map!

  • wow randy used to block and play? Man I wish he was still like this.

  • @PicketOnlineVideo hey man, thats what i call respectability. not doggin on a team no one really knows. I can respect that! i also hope we move up, we just gotta make sure we can afford to, and can compete in a few years.
