Riding the big elevator at the South Carolina State Museum. This elevator has a rear door and can be used as a shortcut to other parts of the museum. This elevator is probably Otis. I thought it was Mitsubishi. If you know, please tell me.

  • i rode this elevator with my mom.

  • It also applies to 9000 & 10000 lbs, while 11000-15000 lbs requires 150 HP, and 16000-20000 lbs requires 200 HP.

  • How can freight hydraulics require a 100 HP motor (if more than 8000 lbs)?

  • I think there is only two kinds of elevators from them available in North America. Not nearly as awesome as the ones over seas.

  • That is one slow elevator.

  • the arrow is a givaway that it is an otis

  • I think it's an Otis, because Mitsubishi elevators aren't made in North America much.
