The new Celestion Gold. Designed for players wanting the legendary tone of the Blue Bulldog with greater power handling capability, the new Celestion Gold employs improved heat management, enabling it to be used in higher power combo and with modern 4 x 12" amplifiers. the 50-Watt Celestion Gold is exceptionally close, in both tone and specification, to the original Alnico Blue speaker. The speaker comes in a distinctive vintage gold color and is hand-built at Celestions factory in Ipswich, England.

  • @goofy2009ify Agreed, the AC30HWH (or similar) would've been a better pick.

  • how do these gold & the blue compare with the vintage 30's ..anyone??

  • Why do you play these expensive speakers with a cheap Vox AC30 Custom Classic?

  • Pardon me, I think it's the amp doing the overdrive, not the speakers?

  • I wasn't feeling it with the metal. Metal sounds better with stiffer cones.

  • @VarykGerai because it's where people are looking. Besides, If it sounds great when YouTube compresses the shit out of it, Chances are it sounds wonderful in person.

  • @WheresJapan4 HA! He does look like skinny timmy.

  • I liked the vox the best--sounded great!! I am really digging all the videos I see for the Celestion Gold speakers.

  • I like the orange head best! vox was a little muddy! Thanks for sharing!

  • You know what.... I'm putting these speakers in my car! Just to be better than everybody else! Now i only need a sub! :D
