"Pirates of the Caribbean" home pinball machine (2006) from Zizzle.
Design by John Popadiuk (Cirqus Voltaire, Star Wars Episode I, Theatre of Magic etc).

It is about 3/4 of a full size pinball machine. I bought it in Belgium because it's not available in the Netherlands. With improvements and transport costs the table cost me almost as much as a 2nd hand (vintage) pinball machine; the price in the USA is much cheaper! But a full size table is simply too big and noisy (for my neighbours!). The flippers and target switches did not work properly from the beginning so I had to make some ajustments. This seems to be a common problem with Zizzle pinball machines.

Although it's not a real pinball machine, I find it nice and challenging enough to have. It's like having a big gadget.

  • I have this same machine...what do you mean by adjust the flipper and target connections?

  • @drummergrl1000 When the ball hit the target there was no (electrical) connection and therefore no points. Also when pressing the flipper button, the flipper would not respond (well). So in both cases I ajusted the electrical contact points from each mechanism by bending them a little.

  • so how do you win? and how long have you had the machine? any issues with it?

  • @shadowflame1976 The objective of the game can be seen in my video "Zizzle pinball quick guide". The Wizard Mode is the last mode/objective. After you've shot the four flashing arrows in Wizard Mode they will lit again to shoot, and so on.

I have the machine since april 2008 and it's still working fine. It didn't work 100% when I bought it. I had to open the machine and ajust the flipper and target connections. No big problem but you have to be reasonable handy.
