No matter what people say about this part, first movie was just the ideal mind twist and very entertaining with loads of twists and turns. Kept the viewer involved up until the last moment.
It seems that continuation of Butterfly effect series follows the same unsuccessful path that went Final destination after its first movie's mind blowing debut. Following parts (maybe not the second) got more and more bizarre and disgusting. Well the same, in my opinion, can be said about Saw III - Saw VI

Sense when did this series turn into a slash flick? Fuck this movie. 2 and 3 are cash ins. Gawd I hate "b" movie sequels with there suck ass stories, shit camera work, and no name douchebags.

1st was a romantic movie, 2nd was a softcore porno and the 3rd seems like a psycho killer crap
the first one is amazing, the rest are just a disgrace to the title.
and just to add, best ending in 1st is the one where they both walk their own ways, which suggest he will never see love of his life again, and living with that is (i cant really compare but its a good guess) harder than death. Knowing she is out there, but he cant have her. knowing she is someone else's.
