@mayhem380 I play as the Tau, i had 24 Firewarriors with pulse rifles vs 30 bigboyz... they had 13 left when they got into close combat... all of my firewarriors died instantly. i learnt to flee when they're in range.

@lagraf05 Ha I know what u mean Tau r annoyin. One of my earliest games was against them. This kid had them and I was still kinda new to playing the tabletop game.I'd been into the lore for a long time so i thought my SMs would have no trouble killin them. Turns out Tau can immobilise dreadnoughts very easily (if the dice favour them) and having a tactical squad hide behind it doesn't help the missile launcher fire back! The lesson: Fluff does not = crunch. Still don't think tau fit 40k tho.

well, what can i say... i play with Tau in DOW and they KICK ASS. I mean the Skyrays are superb with their barrages cripling the enemy like cookies. Furthermore, combine it with Crysis + flame, Hammerheads and stealth teams for any vehicle and u'll have an almost unbeatable force (trust me, even close combat can be... not very convenient against crysis, excepting grey knights and korne berserkers and even if they do, the barrage can do the trick as well as some fire team shooters).
