  • Healing with love is wonderful But can we heal someone who relishes being ill?

  • From Richard:

"Lets call this one - T.

What comes to mind is the judgment that T relishes being ill. Maybe T doesnt understand the role this plays. That judgment/story about T cannot be good for you. And nothing is hidden in any relationship, so T knows he/she is being judged, which may increase Ts tendency to be ill.

If you need T to get better to feel good about your abilities, then ego is involved. Why not appreciate and even love T, even though he/she relishes being ill?"

  • These ideas are so good! The idea of not being in the present, of telling myself stories that make me feel special in a negative way? What a clarifying, unembellished way of saying what I do a lot.

  • Thanks -- this is an insightful way to simplify all the noise of the mind, which can seem too dizzyingly complex to understand or get out from under.

  • Thanks for sharing this video. I heard a podcast of Dr. Moss being interviewed by Kelly Howell (Theatre of the Mind), and found his message on point. Great stuff!!!
