The sponsor for this show was Motts Applesauce. Everytime I see Motts in the supermarket I think of Amos & Andy. Was a fun show to watch and the GOP still thinks black people should act like this.

The early 1660s I was serving in the United States Marine Corps. Every day you could pass the day room. You could hear screams of laughter. There would be 15or 20 African American Marines rolling on the floor and howling at the TV..What were they watching ? Amos and Andy.I would.observe from the doorway and laugh myself..
Along with The Beverly Hillbillys Amos and Andy.made us laugh at ourselves..

At least with these laugh tracks the tracks match some real genuine humor...These gentlemen were the greatest of the big time radio shows long since past...I recall these guys making me laugh as a Kid...I was never able to see the picture portion of the show just the sound...we were poor.....I am so glad they are available through YOU TUBE!! I would watch every one of these!!!!.
