12.942 in MR2 MK1.5 at Toronto motorsport drag strip

on my 5th run i got a 12.942 at 108.90 mph. It was my goal to hit a 12.9 so i was happy about that. This was the 2nd run with Stan's 91 MR2 tdo6 at 18psi

I'm running the ct20b at 16 psi. I plan to go back and run at 18-20psi.

nice dude i cant wait to get my mk1 ready im using a 2nd gen 3sgte, it must be really fun to have all that power in that little car. before i had a 97 toyota tacoma with a 1jzgte engine and sold it.

This must really be a different experience in a smaller car and closer to the ground and definately better grip. props to ure mr2 beating supras and SW braggers really dude i just love to see these cars owning.

thanks, beating alot great cars is fun but beating the sw20s makes it more special. They had their fun for many years, it's time for the mk1 to make its mark. I'll be going back to the strip with a few mk2s in the spring / summer so i'll have new vids up then.

o, it felt great to beat the sw20. The run before these vids was against a 94 supra TT. I wish my friend was able to film then, i beat the supra by half a second. That felt great!
