Level 4 is in this part.
Level 4 is the level with all the weird gimmicks to show off the tricks the SNES could do. But first, a fairly normal section is at the start. This part went really well. I got some nice timed whips, and that one boomerang throw that takes out 5 or 6 enemies just feels great to pull off. The giant head boss, Puwexil, is one I've never had a strategy for. I just whip and throw stuff a lot. He goes down pretty fast.
The second segment is a rotating room. It's kind of boring, but if you doze off and make a dumb mistake, you die. It sucks.
The third segment is another rotating room, but this time just the background. It causes lots of slowdown. I missed the timing on a couple whips here, but there's never really any danger in this room.
The four segment in this level is the rising floor area. I time everything pretty well here, and of course stop to dance along with that little organ bit. Gotta keep those legs limber before you fight Dracula. The boss is a little sloppy, because I thought he would die faster. And then I finish with some weird mid-air ducking whip pose.
When the final boss started growing after it was beaten I was like GAAARGH!
When it shrunk, I was like 'eerrrr.... oh.. kay...?'

@supermashriq Absolutely. Castlevania has some of the most memorable music in video game history.
