Digital technology has not only revolutionized how we share information, but it also has provided the
opportunity to shape how that information is perceived. This renders the truth both malleable and
vulnerable to those who have an interest in revising and redefining it.

A notable panel gathered on April 8, 2010 at the Northwestern Law School, to explore the impact of this evolving communications landscape and how it is reshaping the already-complicated relationship among the law, the media and society.

The panel, hosted by Harlan Loeb, U.S. Director, Edelman & Issues Management, and moderated by Matthew Harrington, president and CEO of Edelman U.S., included the following guests:
-David Barstow, Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter for The New York Times
-Jason DeSanto, senior lecturer, Northwestern University/Law School & School of Communications
-Marc Firestone, general counsel, Kraft
-Mike Allen, senior political writer, Politico
