How did you get away with running it in the house? mine is barred to the garage & surrounding outdoor area's hahahaha, looks & sounds great!!!

Just to clarify (as there's two types of steering rod), I was referring to the pronged variety and not the more recent threaded-end kind. Saw the pronged sort on ebay (item 200279844986).

how did you get the steering wheel to steer it, because don't they have a steering rod to turn the wheels??

The steering wheel is actually connected to the wheels - and does work!
There is a steering rod supplied with the model, but it isn't required to change the wheels, unless you clipped it to the steering wheel. (Not sure why it is supplied to be honest...)

Isn't the "steering rod" used for steering the model whilst staying stood above the moving car? The prongs on the end should interlock (albeit loosely) into the spokes of the car's steering wheel. Great memories of this roadster - Thank you for posting.

Yeah, that would work.

Thanks! I'm looking for a good venue to let it have a good run, just couldn't resist firing it up to test it out!
