History of Viking freight. Here are a few images sent to us of our old company Viking. Viking was the industry leader in the western United States for LTL frieght handling. Viking has alot of old history which is unmatched even with thoday's new conway styles of trucking. Nobody will ever treat thier employees as Viking did in this industry, and probably nobody ever will. Fedex has alot to learn when it comes to being fair to its employees. MY FATHER DROVE FOR VIKING FREIGHT FOR OVER 20 YEARS OUT OF SAN JOSE CA AND RETIRED FROM FED-EX .THE DRIVERS CALLED HIM ```GRAMPA``` BILL V. I ALWAYS WERE A VIKING HAT AND JACKET , DADS 72 YEARS OLD NOW

I was just curious who picked the loud and obnoxious sound that goes along withe the slide show. It's really ridiculous. I'm a rock and roller, but what hell is that??

Nice video. I worked for Yellow for 10 years pulling doubles. I invented and have a patent on a new tool to move and line up the dolly with the lead trailer called the Dolly Jockey. I have attached a video I think you will find interesting.

Damn I miss Viking, will always make me think of my Dad. Still have a poster, and one of the cab over models with the 2 trailers. EZTBW :)
