This DIY idea just came to me as I was opening my blinds. So I built it as a hack... a simple one with no words, just video of the DOING part. Enjoy the music and video!

I came from the upper portion of a Rumble Robots toy. It's what made the arms move. I have several of them around. They've proven to be very handy in several projects.

for some reason a + and a - wire on 2 screw next to eachother seem like trouble to me ...

Now add some circuitry to make it shut the blinds when the sun is messing with your monitor
