@NaturallyIrresistibl whos to say it's the "wrong way"?i tried for over a year to lose (even my doctor monitored me) & just kept gaining. i worked out everyday, ate well, etc so my doctor couldnt figure out what was wrong with me. finally, he and i thought of putting me on phentremine. so i went on it for 2 months and lost a lot and now, long after i'm off of it, i'm still losing. it jump-started my metabolism. theres nothn wrong with taking it. just diet and exercise dsnt work for everyone :)

they don't let anyone go over 3 months because it can damage your heart, not necessarily because it can be addictive.

Good Luck!! I started taking it along with B12 shots 2 days ago and already lost 6 lbs! Only 69 to go to reach my goal weight of 160.

what happens when u stop taking the meds?? will u gain the weight back? then what? losing weight is hard wk, theres no miracle pill. im not saying this to be mean, i just think it would be better to do it the right way first.

@NaturallyIrresistibl The pills are just a helpful starter. Not something to continue to do over a long period of time. In the 3 or so months that a person in on the medication, they are hopefully trying to form new eating habbits and a healthier lifestyle in general. I don't believe in "miracle pills" either. But, I trust my doctor to give me something that I will benefit from. There shouldn't be any reason for me to gain all the weight back if I'm dieting correctly.
