@calebthegreat08 It might surprise you to know what damage to American Institutions the Insurance companies are doing with the power of the money they amass and how few legitimate claims insurance companies refuse to cover unless people spend a lot of the money in hand to sue them for collection. If one doesn't have the funds to sue they never collect for legitimate loss. It's too long a story for this site....I think YOU are missing the point.

@genie0390 Who are you griping to? I'm a liberal, neither a Democrat or Republican and consider myself very far to the left of most issues. I'm not totally down on capitalism, BTW. I am down on predatory lending practices, health insurance and treating healthcare as a business. I'm pro-choice on abortion and believe gays should be allowed to marry and adopt if children. Legalize marijuana and cut the defense budget in half, at least. Problem solved. Budget balanced. Next question?

@crazymama1955 health care would be cheap if insurance wasn't involved, and universal will just take money in taxes, basically a government pay plan that takes from everyone. youd be able to pay for it your self again if insurance wasn't invovled. i remember splitting my knee wide open as a kid the 22 stitches i got cost nothing($ 35) i cut my arm open 10 tears later with 16 stitches and it cost over $400.

Really. I have more respect for Bonnie and Clyde because they were honest about what they did. They robbed banks and they were damn good at it. When banks steal from us, it's just business. Credit Unions are the best!
It’s hard to believe that Republicans in Michigan just voted to cut hundreds of millions of dollars from our local schools give huge tax breaks to these big banks. Rich CEOs and corporate special interests got a one point eight billion dollar tax break, stealing money from our schools and denying our kids the opportunity to succeed. Check out "Stand up for kids, not CEOs" on our youtube page.
