Call it a crime: Turkey warns US over Armenian 'genocide' decision

A U.S. Congressional Committee has recognised the 1915 killings of Armenians as genocide. Turkey, which rejects the term genocide, responded by recalling its envoy from Washington. The row comes at a time when the U.S. is expected to press Turkey, a NATO member, to back sanctions against Iran.

Besides, the Armenians weren't just going to stand there while your turkish ancestors slaughtered them... of course some action was taken but sadly it wasn't enough. The Armenians had limited weapons and less fighters. After all that, the genocide still occurred. There is no question about that.
