Yes, good footage and nice to hear the crossing bells, not these awful silly new electronic 'warblers' that they are replacing them with. Keep up the good work!

Good clip and a steady one, for once. Interesting to see it from the "flight deck" for once.

Thanks, yeah I have heaps of hand held footage from the passenger seat but its rather "shaky". So decided to try putting the camera on top of the control stand, and it works really well.

You're lucky to get a cab ride like that.
I scored a cab ride on a freight across the Nullarbor about 1983 but I bet you couldn't do that now.

Thanks, yeah I consider myself lucky to go for cab rides. Going across Nullabor would have been interesting. Yep sure is a nice sound, and yes its EMD power.
