Two women are being hailed as heroes in Paso Robles.
Firefighters received a call at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, that a 9-year-old girl had been found in the pool of the Dry Creek Apartments. That's located in the 1200 block of Corral Creek. They say the girl was unresponsive, was not breathing and had no pulse.
Two bystanders reportedly pulled the girl from the water and started performing CPR before emergency crews arrived. The girl's pulse returned while she was being taken to Twin Cities Hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.
A similar incident happened the same day in Nipomo, when a 2-year-old boy fell into a swimming pool and nearly drowned. A sheriff's deputy performed CPR and revived the boy, who was released from the hospital Wednesday.
How come I didn't get on the news when I saved a two year old girl from drowning? She jumped into a pool without floatys and couldn't swim no one saw her but me :( I always thought saving someones life would be this huge big life changing thing, but it really isn't, I kinda wonder if someone would have gotten her besides me?
