Sine qua non is Latin, and it's often used in philosophical discussions. It means something like "without this, then nothing". Basically, it's the most important piece of a system. If the sine qua non piece was missing from a system, that system would not work.

I was searching, lurking and sniffing for a INSTRUMENTAL VERSION of this track and I still haven't found it. I had it on an audio cassete back in the 90's, I recorded it from a radio station. If anyone knows where can I find the instrumental (without words) version please share...

Sine qua non (pronounced as anglicized /ˈsaɪni kweɪ nɒn/ or more Latinate /ˌsɪneɪ kwɑː ˈnoʊn/)[1] or conditio sine qua non (plural sine quibus non) was originally a Latin legal term for "(a condition) without which it could not be" or "but for..." or "without which (there is) nothing." It refers to an indispensable and essential action, condition, or ingredient.

i was told it means "the essential piece of kit" by a lecturer at uni when studying location sound recording, its a 4 channel mixer with PPM meters and outputs for cameras etc... its what boom operators often have attached to them when you see them in the background of shots in "making of" docs... he might've been having me on tho...

I'm struggling for the English translation of this track. I know it since such a long time, and I don't know what is it about :) But I love it though :)
