Just go to the store. Its cheaper and easier. This is only fun if you are a geek and into this kind of stuff but it does not make any economic sense to do this.
I tried this kind of thing before. Spend Hundred of dollars on hydroponics equipment, chemicals, etc.. to get about $5 worth of produce. You don't even get enough to justify the electric bill from the pumps. It is must cheaper to buy this stuff at the store.

Almost there, im looking for the final parts before i dive into it. People all over the place have seen roaring success and here in aus it's pretty popular, i suspect i may fail at it a couple of times, like i did with my basil, but it'll eventually take off, ill make sure of it. I'm too stubborn and persistant to know better =p

Do you actually have a working system because from my experience its just not worth it.
It might be fun but its not practical.
