Daggerfall: Roka's Initiation

Alright. Here's my first Daggerfall video upload. It's my new character, Roka.

After making a custom portrait, (Some Daggerfall veterans may notice the added beard onto my characters head) I opened up Boilerplate's character creation tips video and loosely based my character off of his.

Some differences would be some of the minor skills, but one major on is my character's species. He's a Nord. Using some compensation, I was able to still have my character immune to paralysis at the cost of less magic.

Anyway, this video is about Roka's initiation into the city of Singcroft's Knights of the Dragon.

NOTE: I forgot to mention the frame-rating is choppy because of the DOSbox recording thingy. Some times it randomly speeds up, and there is no music...

Haha... I only started gaming in the early 2000's... what can I say? I'm only fifteen, now... but my family wasn't the richest, and I was on a Sega Genesis up until 2004.

You know, I'd have to go on my other computer to take a look, but I remember Boiler's build had a lot to do with the perks.

And thank-you. If I ever do a re-make of Boiler's character creation, I will be sure to put in commentary.

Yeah, a shame he retired from posting his videos, I enjoyed the nostalgia trips from watching old games. Although I didn't have a computer back then (around -86), I still could be found drooling at computer stores and being amazed over the latest advances in graphics.

Whats your major/minor skills setup? I've gathered that Long Blade ought to be in there somewhere.

About your video, it's a very good first try. In time, you might even become comfortable enough to add commentary.

I varied the specs a bit, but they're pretty damn close to being the same thing that Boiler had.
