@1r1shCath0l1c It seems to be "fair game" for anyone to produce. Entire classes do so. My DMC-205 class just produced each of their own versions, some are amateur and some are quite well done like this one.

lol yours is so well done compared to my own and some of the others I've seen, and you made the dialogue a lot smoother and more natural. Also before I screw make a mistake, what's the one guys accent?

@pandoble Very nice job! Did you have to get permission from Nicholas T. Proferes to film this, or is this fair game for any aspiring director? I'm thinking of filming this myself, so I just wanted to check on that.

thanks! i hadn't watched this in a long time. it struck me that there's too many unnecessary cuts and zooms. the guy's accent is his own, really. he's from venezuela, but he sounds russian or middle-eastern, i don't know. i believe it is fair game to use, since it's part of a film directing textbook sold in stores, so the whole point is for people who are learning film-making to use it. but i assume you have to credit it at the end.
