Demonstrating basic playback of a ChinesePod podcast that I quickly aligned with the corresponding transcript. You see the correct section of text is highlighted as the audio plays.

  • Hi Slatterypod, i need to do what you did... match up the audio with writing, i just cant. I am using an mp3 file, i add it to transcriber i see the needle running all the way through the audio but it makes no sound. How did you do it?? Thx

  • Oh, so you see the audio but hear no sound? I've only Transcriber on Windows. Are you using Windows, or maybe Linux or Mac?

  • interesting.

Did you manually match up the text with the audio or is there a site which provides ready made translations?

  • Yes, I used Transcriber to manually match up the text with the audio.. I just pasted in the transcript, played back the audio, and synced as it played. Transcriber is probably the fastest tool on the market for this (and it's free)!
