  • how about not using any "Medium"

  • @trianamiamor Again, not using mediums limit considerably what you could be doing. Medium is a liquid solution that is applied to either a painting structure such as a canvas or to the paints themselves. Medium has 3 basic functions. (1) Ease of transferring paint from the brush to the canvas.(2) assist paints to blend together, (3) Consistency. medium thins paints for this purpose.

  • when they are painting in oils they never show you what they are using to paint, is like a secret, just us acrylics, water and paint and that's it!!!

  • @trianamiamor One of the biggest problems using water is it leaves bubles which dry and leave small craters in your painting. As such, many artists and students will use medium specifically manufactured and designed for acrylics. Some are called 'flows' as opposed to medium and acrylic retarders can be used as medium. In any event one should always have a small fine mist spray bottle around.to keep paints and painting while while painting.

  • what the hell is a "Medium" is it somebody who contacts the dead? that's why I work with acrylics!
