Electric current creates magnetic field and oscillating electric current creates oscillating magnetic field and NOT electromagnetic wave Maxwells electromagnetic wave theory of light originated mostly from three phenomenons. 1) When a conductor oscillates in a magnetic field, oscillating electricity is created within the conductor. 2) Electric current creates magnetic field around a conductor. 3) Faraday effect: - the rotation of the plane of polarization of light by the application of a magnetic field. Maxwell has mistakenly concluded that, if an oscillating magnetic field creates an oscillating electric field in a conductor, an oscillating magnetic field should also create oscillating electric field in empty space. He has also believed that, oscillating electric field in space creates oscillating magnetic field. These beliefs have led him to develop his electromagnetic wave theory of light. The theory says that, light is an electromagnetic phenomenon and the perpendicularly oscillating electric and magnetic fields in space makes the propagation of light. In this presentation, we can see that, an oscillating magnetic field can create an oscillating electric field only in a conductor and not in empty space. When a conductor breaks a magnetic field, the magnetic field lines exert force on the free electrons in the conductor and which causes an unbalanced charges between the ends of the conductor (accumulation of electrons in one direction). But if the conductor oscillates in a magnetic field, the accumulation of electrons changes its direction in the frequency of oscillation of the conductor.
That is, an oscillating magnetic field creates an oscillating electric current (oscillating electric field) in a conductor. On the other hand, magnetic field is created when charged particles are aligned in a single way. Electric field will be created in the following circumstances: a) A charged particle (negative/positive) creates an electric field around that particle. b) An oscillating magnetic field creates an oscillating electric field within a conductor. *Electric field lines hold nucleus and electrons in an atom are together; atoms in a molecule are together. *An unbalanced and opposite charges within a conductor or between two conductors cause the flow of charges through that conductor (s).Magnetic field will be created in the following circumstances: A charged particle (positive/negative) has magnetic property and act as a small magnet. When charged particles are aligned in a single mode in a material, a magnetic field will be created around that material. For example, when electrons are flowing through a conductor, all electrons will be aligned in a single way. This alignment of flowing electrons creates a collective magnetic field around that conductor. Flowing electrons cause to align them, otherwise, there is NO any direct connections between motion of electrons and creation of magnetic field. In a permanent magnet, outer electrons of the atoms of domains are aligned in a single way and all domains are also aligned in a single way. This alignment creates a magnetic field around a permanent magnet. In the case of an iron core inside of a solenoid, the influence of the magnetic field that created by the flowing electrons in the conductor, the outer electrons of the atoms of the iron core will be aligned in a single way and causes to create a magnetic field around the core. Structure of electron: Charged particle like electron has a standing-electric field and magnetic field in right angle regardless of any kind of its motions and act as a tiny bar magnet with a negative charge.
(Watch video structure of electron) Flow of electrons in a conductor and the resultant magnetic field
The flow of electrons through a conductor is caused by the attraction between electric fields of mobile electrons and the fixed positive charges in the conductor and the electrons move to the direction of positive charge. Since the electron has electric field and magnetic field in right angle, an electric current creates a magnetic field that is right angle to the direction of the electron flow.
Oscillating magnetic field created by a radio wave transmitter (radio wave). The oscillation of electrons in a radio wave transmitter (in a conductor) is caused by the alternation in the direction of electric attraction on electrons. In this oscillation, electrons make oscillation parallel to its electric field and perpendicular to its magnetic field. Since electron has electric and magnetic field in right angle, oscillating electron creates transverse wave on its magnetic line and this oscillating magnetic line is radiated to space.

  • you really need graphics or video animations instead of piling up words to do a successful presentation.

  • Should have graphics and other media to get the point across!

  • was hoping for a video

  • Yep, some can teach and some can show. Showing is not teaching.

  • i like the music...

  • Isnt the magnetic field created when eletrically charged particles are on move ?

  • i dis like because youtube is for video if i wanted to read it i would use wiki. stop being a dummy!

  • @Khalid2222a Makes sense. Thanks for getting that point out there, it's so easy to only think about electricity in DC.

  • Thanks this was amazing.

  • music is haunting. Where I get soundtrack to this fillum?

  • An oscillating electric current creates an oscillating electric field; the oscillating electric field creates and oscillating magnetic field, this is govern by maxwell's equations. Hence, AC current is needed to create electromagnetic waves. However, DC current only creates electromagnetic fields.

  • how do wifi antennas make Direct connections with only my antenna and not other metallic objects or antennas.. that hasn't been explained here. As well as if radio waves travel endlessly how come I aint getting signals from the past? (old radio waves) only current ones can't explain that one can you? of course not, only explanation is a direct connection is formed, similar to any type of wires if you cut it, connection is lost.. only this connection is very slim and microscopic.
