@mrigor1107 If you are crashing just as a device nearby sucks juice, I'd say a UPS is just what you need. And be wary: when the system shuts off incorrectly, bad data can be written to the drive, so be sure to verify the integrity consistently, else the bad data can even be copied to other addresses, which can ruin your day. :-) Good luck!

hey mate, i'm djing for a friends 21st next weekend and im practicing my set at home and torq le keeps crashing! only started happening this week and i've been using torq le all year? WTF?!
I'll be using a mac to mix.
My setup will be connecting the x session pro into the mac book, then that into the mixer and dj equipment at the venue, would that work ok for cueing etc?

Ive run torq for 4 years. I used to be frustrated with it at first but with a little research and fine tuning, its still the best right now feature for feature. That may change soon with other programs and updates, but I utilize all the features and my dj buddies ask me how im able rock it like that. I use 1210 mk5s and love it. Im sticking with it til something new comes along.

Question for you tim.. how to get Torq and Connectiv to work with a MacBookPro... mine has a Mac OS X V 10.6.3 / 2.53Ghz / 4GB Ram... and can't get it to work.. I open up the System preference and it says that Conectiv is connected but when I try to open Torq... it says. No M-Audio Hardware found.. Its so frustrating... Everything worked perfectly with my Windows XP system with much lower specs.. can you help me out?... any advise can help.. thanks..

there is a simple solution to problems with torq, put it in the bin-its a piece of crap. had it for 2 years and have had an endless load of problems (im now running serato on the same computer and i havent had 1 problem since i got it-about 6 months) its cheap for a reason-do yourself a favour and get traktor or serato

@mickylunch I have not had a problem since I can remember. Run flawlessly. And they just came out with an update that makes everything perfect. Update your equipment before you switch over

Hey TimTheDJ... nice little vid here. I think it would be nice to include a Pt. 2 that somewhat touches on tweaking Torq's internal settings that will boost Torq's reliability/performance.
