This kid (kpshf) obviously missed the point Steve. Thanks for doing this. It's a great reference for your students, and it's remarkably generous of you to avail it to the general public.

Wow! This is great! I really hope to play this for my Solo & Ensemble competition next year. I really hope I can find a good enough accompanist. :-)

@ohsteacher Hi Mr Park,
I am the father of a 10 year old boy who is about to start preparing the Hindemith. Wouldit be possible to get hold of the accompaniment?
Your renditions have been very helpful to him
Thanks

I would appreciate having the Hindemith sonata accompaniment to help with my practicing. What do I do to get it? Very generous of you to make it available. I enjoy your video posts a lot.

Would you please send me the accompaniment if you don't mind? I think I'd like to use it for a performance for my Freshman Foundations art class at Alfred University. If you would like to know more about what I'm doing, you should message me because I could talk about it all day. Really though, I would love to use the accompaniment if I can.

Very beatiful! You are great! I like so much your music and videos. See my Sonata for horn, I will be very happy. If you like, I can send sheets. Thanks!

Where did you get the thing that goes over your hand? I have one for my horn but it doesn't go over my hand its just on the horn

@kpshf86 generally I take comments on youtube with a grain of salt....but that was an incredibly rude comment. things like that are better left unsaid.

@kfallon318 i agree with you. kpshf was off the mark. i played at state with a midi file for my 1st mvt of the hindemith concerto (not sonata like on this pg, i know) and played the 2nd mvt unaccompanied; i received one of the only gold medals of the day. so computer, disc, midi, etc. all work great and are great for practice! so thank you for sharing!

I'm a music Minor and I play French Horn. I always watch your vids on how to play certain pieces and it helps a lot. I was just assigned the Hindemith piece and I'm struggling through it lol... my horn professor said I needed to experiment with different kinds of repertoire because I like to play more melodic pieces. Anyways, your videos are a big help :)!

do you teach music or just technique? because playing with a computer is not the best to develop a musical personality.. i dont understand..
anyway..congrats for your technique but search for a pianist and play music...

@kpshf86 I recognize that a computer accompaniment is not ideal. But it would not be fair ta ask a really good pianist to spend hours practicing these accompaniments just to record with me. And I can't afford to pay what it would cost. Also, a side benefit of my creating the computer accompaniments is that I can make them available to those who want to use them to help with practice. I send out many accompaniments each week to horn students all over the world who request them.

Are you playing these from SmartMusic?
tikiwildchild 1 year ago
No. I create my own accompaniments using a program like Finale' called Musicator.
