  • You won't regain the weight if you follow Dr. Simeon's Protocol for Phase 3, which is eat no sugars or starches for the 21 days. You will be amazed at how your appetite will have decreased after being on Phase 2 and how you will see food differently. The South Beach Diet is good for Phase 3 as Arthur Agatston, M.D. has a fine program. He treats Metabolic Syndrome/Insulin Resistance and that is the key factor. I recommend reading his book.

  • My first HCG round was May 5th for 46 days and I released 17#. I'd released 6# in Phase 1 doing a "cleanse" so I had started at 202#. The 2nd Round I was up 3# so I did 25 Days and lost 13#. Now since I have gallbladder surgery needed, I'm on R2P3D11 and staying there until after I recover from surgery & then I'll do a 3rd HCG round. I had GB attacks for 6 yrs so the diet isn't the fault. I lost slow, but I am 59 & have Insulin Resistance, so it was good I lost at all.

  • Grissini breadsticks are usally at the DELI counter with the fancy mustards, etc. in the grocery store.

  • Sounds like you are off to a great start. Isn't that scale nice? I have the same one and I love it. Makes measuring so easy.... no guesswork. I can't find the grissini (sp?) breadsticks anywhere, so it's melba toast for me. Anyway, thanks for the info and the update. You sound like a pro already!
