@teamogleal Yes, I know alot about it. My mom is a physic/ghost hunter so we study alot of cold cases. Elizabeth is one of my many cases I work on. :)

Her death is very eerie...I would think we could figure out who did it with all the technology today.....To do what that person did to her they must have been very advanced in the medical field.....It is one of the scariest things ever in my opinion!

@FlaxenHairedBeauty I watched a documentary on her death and theres very good proof that George Hodell did it. In my opinion I think he killed her and possibly other women.

@youtubs3 Im not sure what the name of it is. It was on 48 Hours, its like a forensic show. I dont know if its on here or not, but I can look! Theres also a book that George Hodel's son, Steve wrote, where it gives more detailed information about it. Its called The Black Dahlia Avenger.

I think it's disturbing that the pictures of her tortured body are online. I mean, if I was murdered that way and millions of people could see my naked maimed body on the internet, I wouldn't like that at all. And I definitely wouldn't like a gruesome metal band named after my murder and the incredible amount of pain I suffered. Just saying...

their was a suspect he thought was the killer he was of medical perfession and Mr. Ness interigated him then after witch he the suspect committed himself to a asylem for some time then left why maybe to lay low on all of the news about the elizabeth Short was going on he retrieted to confinement to cover his tracks

Anyone who relishes the thought of this gruesome act by wanting to gawk at these photos of a young beautiful woman who was tortured at the hands of this sick, twisted, depraved, ugly monster is very disturbing. I think there should be a stopping point of what should be aired on line.

@ThomRadioheadYorke a spin on a movie "the blue dahlia" the name was given to her by newspapers, no one called her that in real life. newspapers made up a lot about her to make the story sell.
