A buck broke through a window to land in a basement bedroom. The same room where a Utah family had been keeping all their Christmas presents!

  • Putting down the buck was a sad thing but smartest and safest thing to do in this particular situation PERIOD

  • Anyone who thinks a buck will go down quietly and peacefully by simply tranquilizing it has absolutely no experience what so ever with wildlife. Sure, deer and any other wild animal are great, but they are also much more powerful than any human and can and will cause major damage or injury to anything or any person that's in its way even by tranquilizing it because it takes a couple minutes of thrashing around before it goes down.

  • NO RUDOLF!!!!! ONLY SANTA GOES INTO THE HOUSE......

  • That deer was not very Dear

  • @NormaJn I totally agree with you on that . They could have sedated him. He didn't know what he was doing. He was just curious like any other animal. However, I may be bias because I am a member of the humane society. Besides, he didn't hurt anyone and he didn't ruin the presents.

  • I don't think putting it down was necessary. A good tranquilizer to give them time to get him upstairs and out a door would have been a better option. Hmmmm did the family get to keep it?

  • nooooope! it's just chuck testa
