@Wheelsun03 they may be flat, but you need to read a dictionary.

Their flat.
-
have you read the score? it's "yul".

I love the rochester accent. lol

Nicely done! Good attention to detail and a convincingly, authentic style. I get sooo tired of spirituals performed in a patronizing, shallow way. Well conceived and executed.

The last syllable in Daniel was chopped off a lot. I think it's because everyone was breathing at the same time.
-
the final syllable of daniel is just too dark. I think it should have been more 'elle' as opposed to 'ul'

Good performance.
Over-all.
I would give it 98 out of 100.
But there's something not quite right though, - I can't "put my finger on it" so-to-speak.
Not quite sure what it is.
But over-all
98 of 100 %
Good job!

yeah. that's how it's supposed to be said. it would sound ugly if they said it dan-i-elle.

there is one soprano sticking out... and this version is a little slow. nice sound in general though!
Great job! I feel that everything was excecuted beautifully except the first part of the tenor solo. He didn't get all of the syncopations in. However, it still was a good performance. One of the few on youtube that I enjoy of this piece.

Yes, the soloist was I, and the director and I decided to make it legato, and get rid of the syncopation.
