It was on NHL Trade Rumors about 4 weeks ago. Odds are that's where he's going. The Flyers are not bringing him back and rightly so. He's a crappy captain and is way to slow.
Nah, Prospal is going after his last big pay day. Someone will give him 3 mil after his 30 goal season. Him also producing so far in the postseason always helps.
i googled Philadelphia Flyers Salary Cap and Contract charts and it seems like we could sign all of those players and maybe even prospal depending on how much he wants
dont forget that the flyers are currently 7 mil under the 56 mil cap projection for next season. the cap increase will help the flyers. if you are looking for good flyers discussion join the eagles message board.
That still leaves Umburger left to be signed. This is what we're dealing with...if we are hoping to keep Umburger, Carter, and sign Brian Campbell or Wade Redden or a solid puck-moving defenseman, we may need to consider trading Simon Gagne, cause he accounts for 5.25 million a year, and who knows whether he'll ever be the same again after sustaining 2-3 concussions this season. Also, who is to say we get Campbell...cause the Sharks could sign him...it depends on their playoff run as well.
well hatcher makes 3.5 million a year, Knuble makes 2.8, and Kaps makes 1.25 million, so that would give us 7.55 million dollars to spend. It'll take more than that if we're to sign Campbell, Carter, and Umburger. Carter is going to want at least 3.5 million, and since he's gonna be a restricted free agent, he maybe lured into a lucrative deal from another team like the leafs who would want to make him their no.1 center to build around. Campbell will require 5-6 million as you said...

yea i agree...whenever he's interviewed after a period when the team is down, he seems so nonchalant about things...
