Great, but I have one question. How did you make the game were when your mouse scrolled over the buttons they did the little animation, and how did you make it were when you clicked it it would bring to a different screen?

The menus are done using one of my gui libaries for blitz, which one now escapes me. I think I forgot to put it on my website actually.

No its never too late to learn anything :), although the engine is 6-7 years old, and is directx 7, so no shaders. But it is still rock solid, tried one of my games in blitz from 2000 the other day, and it ran fine in vista, even though it was 8 years old :-)
