Blue Ridge Autumn - Pearl City High School Concert Band

(Posting this REALLY late) So this is the Pearl City High School winter concert. This is the concert band (known as the freshman band to us students) playing the song Blue Ridge Autumn. On a second note, this is my first video with Photoshop Premiere Elements, so the sound quality should be a little better. So you can hear mistakes and sections where we're out of tune. Haha. Well, watch, criticize constructively, and above all, enjoy. :)

Note: Can someone please tell me the names of all the soloists so I can acknowledge them? I can only remember Sheldon, Jamie and Kendyl, and Lucas. Sorry.

ok, well i think that the clarinets should play louder from bars 5-9 and that you guys should try and blend together more. does that help any?

I play this in band, were the advanced band in middle school, so the eight graders. I wish ours sounded better than yours, but what the heck, we have only had it for 2 weeks.

calm down there baritones, its supposed to be be quiet. Also, in measeure like 50 in the part where you have to get loud you are not gettting loud enough. We performed this for the European middle school honor band festival and were 10 times better.

Ooh, we're performing this at my school. Except we're middle school students. Oh wait, we're also performing Into the Storm but for Full Orchestra. I guess our band conductors have similar tastes in music. :D

I think each player sounds really great(especially the trumpets, our trumpets D: are not that great)the main problem is the intonation. There are a few blend/balance problems too I think. Sometimes certain parts just blare out when they should be a little softer. Onto Into the Storm!
