Mom came back with a smile and talked me through the instructions on how to pee on a stick, it really wasnt that hard but i sat there and listened, once i was done i left it in the sink and walked back to mom, she held my hand and stroked my head, playing with my hair. "hunnie, it time" she whispered to me and i let go of her hand and walked back to the test, i picked it up and looked at it, the two blue lines i'd been waiting to appear where thier, i started crying again and mom ran in and held me, "shh hunnie, we dont know if the test is correct" she whispered "but sweetie, prepare yourself for tomorrow, it will probably come back as correct" she stroked my head then lead me to my room and once there i lay down on my bed and cried, mom called the doctors and then mom called demi's house and spoke to demi's older sister taylor and asked if demi could come and stay at our place for the weekend
You see just last year both demi's parents had left, nobody knew why, but Taylor said it was her job to look after miley and demi, so thats what she did. Mom helped her through the tough parts, so taylor counted us as family. Demi came over straight away and mom explained to her about the test and the doctors tomorrow and that she was getting time off her work to go and was hoping demi would stay tomorrow night to be there for me and demi agreed. Demi came in with my 2 favourite types of ice-creams - cookies and cream and cookie dough- (a/n they are amazing x] ) and sat down beside me, "i thought you'd need ice cream" she said and smiled.
We sat and talked about random stuff, i even started crying with laughter and one point, thats why i love demi, she can always turn a bad sitaution around, or she can make you forget about it and make you smile when you want to cry, but i suppose everyone says that about thier best friend. Everything was fine untill Joe came home, Jacob was away on a fishing trip this weekend and joe needed to borrow his laptop, so he came in to ask to borrow my fone to call jacob, but when demi saw him all hell let loose
"can i borrow your fone" he asked me "no" "come on selly" he said, i looked at demi, she looked like she was about to burst "she said no, so piss off joe" demi said to him, taking deep breaths, joe looked at demi "what have i done" "you know bloody well what you've done" demi replied and then she grabbed my hand and squeezed it, joe glared at me as he left, he'd realised i told demi.
"you okai" i asked demi she nnodded "are you" she asked. I smiled as best as i could, then my phone started ringing, it was nick. "selena, you okai, you've gone white" she asked "its nick" i told her, "please answer it and tell him im ill, and that ill see him once i get better and that i love him" i pleaded with demi "what if he doesnt believe me" shee asked as she took the fone "tell him i have bloody swine flu if you have too, i really dont care demi, i cant face him" i watched as demi told him i was ill and told him id see him once i got better, she smiled as she came off the fone "he said to tell you he loves youh and to tell you to get better soon" i smiled back at demi
"so if you are pregnant, what will you do" demi asked as we sat on my bed talking "what do you mean" i aksed her "well, will you keep it or, get rid of it, like abortion or adioption" she asked. "i've never reallt thought" i said thinking over it " i couldn't get an abortion" i winced saying the word, both me and demi had strong feelings against killing small helpless babys i continued "so ill probably keep it, but then again if i struggle id rather have it adopted" demi nodded and then looked up smiling "can i be the god-mother" i looked at her and laughed "demi i dont even know if im gonna be ready for this baby" i said to her "sorry, so what are you thinking of for names" she said and with that i hit her with a pillow, she got up to grab one to throw at me but i pointed at my stomach and said "baby" and she put it back down grinning "do you have a bump yet, can i see it" i lifted up my top to show her and she touched it slowly, "wow it hard to tell if you are or aren't pregnant she commented"
