Bartender Scams

Long and short: I'm a bartender, and a drunk. So I pour much heavier than the bar wants me to. Know why? Because I want to get people drunk and have a good time. If you're paying 6 or so dollars for a jack and coke you should get at the VERY least from a stingy bartender a shot and a half because the bottle costs the bar about 18 bucks. I do scam on occasion but never scam the customers. I scam the bar that's working on a 300%-800% mark up on price. A SODA COSTS 8 CENTS TO FILL: YOU: $2.95!

its stupid ,in most places there are cctv cameras if a person gets a drink the it must be cashed in otherwise its stealing

I agree this video is pretty stupid and they have no idea what there talking about...Bar sells 1oz. drinks, bartender short pours 1/4oz. every drink, pockets money every fourth drink! We do this cause most people are cheap f$#%'s!!! If you take care of us we take care of you!!! To all you "bartenders" who say you don't scam, you're either a newbie or full of s.......

ive had loads of bartenders try to give me a drink with no booze in it after av had a few there's loads of scheming bastards out there i mean come on ffs if i owned a bar i would happily give my staff a big bonus at the end of the week for pulling that shit off

this is lame... nobody does this. quit scaring customers away from my bar!

I work at a bar and we have different pour spouts that do pour different amounts. But that is where a good bartender notices where the fill line is for a good shot. I wouldn't want to underpour for my bar patrons. If a drink isn't good, they won't order another. I hate jiggers. That is just my own comment. I hate using them.

read the description ffs,
joke, prank, japanese GADGETS ...
like is said in the link in the vid ... J-gadgets ...
ofcourse a real bartender wouldn't pull this off
every normal person would see that the whole bottle of tonic can't fit in 1 glass if there is gin added ... but still true, don't believe it
i am a bartender. for the most part the bartender is not trying to hustle you. how would short pouring benefit us? we work for tips. if anything its the owner of the bar thats trying to rip you off and there always bartenders trying to rip off the owner. giving free or strong drinks for a bigger tip, and charging you for a drink and pocketting the cash instead of putting it in the register are the big ones. trust your bartender... unless you own a bar.
