Actually they don´t have many money. Their father company, namely Activision are having big financial problems. Because of that, they have to "burrow" over 150 mill dollars from Blizzard each month until the problem is solved. Therefore i think it´s more than fair to pay those 20 bucks to Blizz so they can keep up with their loss of money.
