@cockwiper no, soccer is used by 1 (maybe 2-3 if ur lucky?) to describe football, the game in which you kick a BALL with your FEET hence the name FOOTBALL american "football" is just rugby with more protective gear and a different name with ever so slightly different rules. either way my point is "soccer" = football (in like %99 of the english speaking world) and "football" (american football A.K.A rugby rip-off) =rugby or no mention at all
