  • born and raised in helena, and having been born 14 years after its destruction, i've always felt robbed having not seen it. i still think someone needs to rebuild it.

    start a petition anyone?

  • Thanks for saving the memory for us!! I recall seeing the building as a kid, but never saw what the inside looked like. I have one door and I'm quite sure I have parts of the Broadwater in my building, which dates from 1890. Everything gains spirit with age!

  • dude last time i was there i was living in a condo down the street xD

  • Ditto. Dick Anderson Construction?

  • This hotel should have been saved in the same way Bannack has been. I was a little kid and remember this place. Helena tore down so much historical architecture.

  • this is very good...I was there that day and it was a very sick and solomn feeling....Haunting and sad...knowing ultimately, it was coming down..,I bought two stained glass windows..they were both pretty damaged needed two in order to have them remade into one...still have it after all these years has hung in every house I have owned..From Montana to Oregon and back....I have collected everything I can get my hands on from the OL' Broadwater....love the video thank you!
