I remember when I was in Cambodian when I was 6 years old I didn't finish my rice noodle. My dad saw a kid standing watching us eat. So he called him over and said "here sit here don't go out there because the big boys will get it away from you." So my dad asked for more meat and noodles and gave it to the little boy.

Those kids are 10 times tougher than most of the adults in the western world.

Some of these kids lie about their age and say they are older than they are. I met one kid who said he was 10, but he was really small. I fed him and he walked away happy. Later on I met his cousins (who also lived on the street) and I asked them how old he was and they said he was 5. I told them he told me he was 10 and they started laughing at him. I fed his cousins and he didnt want to ask us for food because he was embarrased he was caught in a lie. I gave him food anyway though.
