World Servants organiseerde in mei 2011 een voorbereidingsweekend voor alle zomerdeelnemers.
Tijdens het voorbereidingsweekend van World Servants worden alle zomerdeelnemers klaargestoomd voor hun project. Eén van de gasten was James Kabucho van de Keniaanse partnerorganisatie LISP. Hij las het gedicht 'kleurling' (colored):

When I was born, I was black
When I grew up, I was black
When I go to the sun, I am black
When I am afraid, I am black
When I am ill, I am black
When I die, I will be black

In comparison to you,
My white friend

When you were born, you were pink
When you grew up, you were white
When you go to the sun, you will become red
When you are cold, you are blue
When you are afraid, you are green
When you are ill, you are yellow
When you die, you will be grey

How then can you call me a colored person?

Color is based on the amount of UV light in the region of origin.

Warmer countries tend to have more black, darker skin types

Colder countries tend to have more white, paler skin types

Afrika is warm = Black skin

South America is on the edge = Tinted skin

Azia is half/half = Yellow skin

Europe / North America is cold = White skin

Splitting racist bullshit, black people also get blue, yellow is only about liver deseases and yes, black skins also turn yellow then, and when you die, you will be grey too.

White people don't get green when afraid and when born they"re pink, and during live they don't get white, they stay pink.

So I think this is about a serious color problem.
