Pretty lame. Ethanol isn't the answer, increased use of corn based ethanol assures that we'll continue to see increased food prices and as a result less bang for your buck across the board.

Open your eyes, you've been deceived.

thank god someone isnt brainwashed. People stop repeating what you hear from foolish celiebrities and actually research. You will find that weather patterns are a part of this earths history all the way back till it began. Stop letting democrats and celebrities use fear tactics to control the way you live your life.

biodiesel is actually a glorified way out of proportion,
the world's poor is feeling the heat,

every crop turned into fuel will make another child die of hunger. biodiesel is wasting space and resources, it is a better idea using that space for growing food.

normal people wont get too much probs from higher prices of food.
the poor will.
today they could only afford a bowl of rice.

but when the prices go up?

Let's focus on a solution, and stop wasting time adapting an ineffective, costly to implement and small scale attempt at curbing the issue. (It's like throwing an anchor out into space in the hopes we snag something that can stop the world from spinning, so we could freeze time to think this through a little more).

I guess I could find a bigger analogy.

These big stars need to know the truth, think bigger... this is a global problem. Maize based fuel is a but a cork in a cracking Hover Dam (couldn't think of a 'bigger' analogy an American would understand.

FOr every energy unit (1) used to make maize based ethanol only 1.3 units is created.

Wow is this ever short sighted...
Think harder people... burning food is not the answer...
Hasn't anyone read Rolling Stone lately...
The US is the world's largest corn exporter, so let's burn our food now and let poorer nations feed themselves?

So while the rest of the world goes to the heart of the problem: car dependence, the greedy, ignorant, obese fucking americans are still stuck trying to find alternatives to cheap, abundand fossil fuels. The problem is greed, and the solution is consume less.

Why don't they make more cars that run of ethanol available? Or why don't they make cars for us that run on water or something? You know what I mean
