I'm having a hard time saying that, considering it feels way more like Kirby than Zelda 2. This doesn't have high and low attacks and blocks in it which I felt made Zelda 2 more tactical than it would have otherwise been.

Yeah, you DIE if you leave the game alone, that's a TIME LIMIT BY DEFINITION YOU FUCKING JACKASS. If you don't do anything before they get to you, you die because you didn't do anything, hence TIME LIMIT.
