I'd think people should be able to opt out of these programs. Or better have to sign up for them.

why is the bank taking money out of the account of someone with terminal cancer? surely they have a wheelchair, walking canes or other assets that can be reposessed?? when healthcare goes fully private the banks can 'lean' on the drugs companies to deny medication unless they pay them first.

Don't use a credit card, only use a debit card. Then you will be fine

Banks are not allowed to use benefit money for debts etc, i forget what the legislation is but it is there to protect people on benefits.
Banks are thieves and credit is created from nothing. A bank of england quarterly report even admits this! I havn't paid them a penny more.
People look up a video called money as debt and you will see the truth.
