RadianPro Super High Winds!

headed out today to see how 50+ km/h winds would be with my RadianPro.
Even with the GoPro and a 2200mah battery ,was not enough ballast. We dont have much of a slope there, maybe 20degree.

Been searching for a better spot!!

you have alink to that video? id liek to see it. This RP is has no ballast! other then the weight of the GoPro.

Yea i can see the GP causing drag...Winds there that day was 50 gusting 65-70km/h

I would not fly in higher winds then that un less i had ballast in the wing tube! like a steel rod!

I was hoping for lift of the slight slope there, but nadda. this is a new field and friend suggested we fly. I normally fly at the Clubs fields. But i like this spot for parkflying.

Love the vids the Radian does......pilots no good though, flies his planes backwards! LOL Does the Radian have flaps? Is that how you did crow? Very impressed at the wind you can fly that thing in. I am limited with mine :o( Thinking of building the wing. Was looking at the Zeph design with integrated GoPro.

Thanks for the cool comment! yea she has flaps, i usually have Camber to get the most lift i can, but only having a DX6i, i can only have either of the 3 "Full House Glider Options" Crow/Camber/Reflex. Flying backwards is for noobs!!

super high winds? nah. that is only bout 30mph. another guy here on YT is flying radian pro modded 40 mph plus and can still pull ahead. that gopro cam must make huge drag though when the wind is up. nice video and place you have to fly.
