A song I wrote. I apologise in advance for the notes that don't sound quite right, and my shocking enunciation. Cut me some slack, my first musical composition.
The images are from the cover I designed. ( http://fc01.deviantart.com/fs49/f/2009/172/5/8/It__s_Too_Cliche_by_jingy_cold... ) I have a feeling the lyrics will be too small to read so here they are in text:
Eighteen years ago
A kid I know
Entered the world
She had a face
Only a mother could love
And she screamed like a baby
Til the cows come home
But you know what they say
Good things come in little packages
Oh, baby
Today is the first day of the rest days of your life
Refrain:
Its too cliché
Its too cliché
Why is life always the same?
Its too cliché
Its too cliché
Another kid has turned 18
In the blink of an eye
That kid grew up
Into your typical teen
Lazy as a dog
Stubborn as a mule
You can lead a horse to water but you can't make her drink
Oh! What an emotional roller coaster
One day pleased as a pig in mud
Next day dog ate her homework
But hey! Life is like a box of chocolates
Refrain
And now I bet
Shell reach the prime of her life
Meet Mr Right
Love at first sight
He'd cut off his right arm to marry this girl
Then therell be, another kid
When she turns 18
Well sing this song again
Refrain
Its too cliché
Its too cliché
But I wouldnt trade this life
For a million bucks
Cause this cliché is simply too good
Nice! I can't play the piano, but that sounds pretty good. The meaning is very deep and it has a good tune.
