Rice and Beans is designed by La Mano Fria and the official clothing brand of Beta Bodega Coalition, the Miami collective responsible for the record labels: Beta Bodega, Arepaz and Botanica del Jibaro, with artists: Seven Star, Climber, CYNE, Epstein, Prefuse 73, Arepaz Immigrante Orchestra and many more. Rice and Beans was founded in 1996, with a series of designs sold in Bobbito Garcia's legendary shop, Footwork in NYC. Rice and Beans creator, La Mano Fria, is a son of Latin American immigrants, graphic artist, DJ, label owner, visual soldier against the global and false democratic system which engulfs the world today and more important a simple worker.
