After the shows demise in 2002, Lucy was in demand and made her mark in several movies with high profile co-stars, including her turn as a dominatrix in Payback with Mel Gibson as well as appearing in Clint Eastwoods True Crime.

She teamed up with Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson in Shanghai Noon before she scored the role that catapulted her to stardom, that of Alex in the big screen remake of Charlies Angels alongside Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz.

The 2003 sequel, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle opened to poor reviews but was a box-office hit again, earning more than 252 million. In between the two films, Lucy starred with Antonio Banderas in Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever, a critical and box-office failure.
