we are getting this for our 5 year old Kindergartiner for Christmas to help with her reading skills as she will be learning how to read this year in school and we will be using this as a learning tool for her. we read to both of our girls(ages 5 and 1) but when we are at the store or in the car and my 5 year old wants me to read to her I just cant do it. plus I think it will help her stay clam in the store because she will be doing something other then thinking about all the sounds and lights.

Dragon Age and Fable 2 taught my little nephew how to read. No joke! Those games require a lot of reading!

TV is a talking book! So are going to the movies... And so are "books on tape." I know of many people who cannot read books.. they are blind from diabeties, have reading difficulties, have cataracts as they are very old etc. This product, Thanks LEAPFROGS, helps all those people and I think that is great. I wonder if the frog man used his frog costume for halloween. i love all toys. they should not all be the same.

completely agree, had to respond. to add. This is like cheating. It's to fast, and you miss out on the chance to learn for yourself. you get a false hight from false learning. You don't learning patience for gratification. Just immediate gratification
A adult should be reading to a child, not a book. Its positive social behavior 101.
